Konferenz über interkulurelle und interreligiöse Bildung

UNESCO Paris, 17. bis 19. September 2018


Die Konferenz INTERCULTURAL AND INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE AND EDUCATION FOR A WORLD OF PEACE, HARMONY AND TOLERANCE wurde organisiert von der Permanent Delegation of Côte d’Ivoire to UNESCO in Kooperation mit der Permanent Delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO, der Permanent Delegation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to UNESCO, der World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB), der Pure Land Learning College Association Inc. (PLLC) und der Association of Master Chin Kung’s Friends at UNESCO (PAHD). Es nahmen cirka 500 Teilnehmer aus aller Welt an der Konfernz teil.

An den drei Konferenztagen wurden in 8 Panels diverse Aspekte des Themas beleuchtet und Erfahrungsberichte ausgetauscht.

PANEL 6 befasste sich mit “Oman in its efforts for Tolerance, Understanding, Coexistence” und wurde moderiert von H. E. Dr. Samira Mohamed Moosa Al Moosa, Botschafterin, Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO. Sprecher des Panels waren Mohammed Said Al-Mamari, Advisor to the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs und Direktor des Projekts "Tolerance, Understanding, Coexistence Oman’s Message of Islam"; Ministry of endowments and religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman und Beirat von BARAZA e.V.,Georg Popp, Präsident BARAZA e.V. und Riaz Ravat, Vice-Director, St Philip’s Centre Leicester und Beirat BARAZA e.V.

BARAZA Partner Prof. Alberto Melloni nahm Teil in PANEL 8, “How does multi faith awareness influence Education? Sharing experiences on multi faith dialogue”. Prof. Alberto Melloni,UNESCO Chair Religious Pluralism & Peace of the University of Bologna, John XXIII Foundation for Religious Studies referiert über das Thema How does multi faith awareness influence Education?”

BARAZA Beirat Prof. Dr. Enric Olivé Serret, Director of UNESCO chair for intercultural Dialogue in the Mediterranean und Full professor Contemporary History at Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Tarragona, Spain sowie Member of the advisory board of the assembly of citizens of the Mediterranean und IEMed referierte in Panel 3 zum Thema “Maintaining social harmony”.
